Founded on August 15, 1916, Atlas has been a proud force in the Mexican game for over a century. Who were Atlas siblings?
Family. According to Hesiod, Atlas was the son of the Titan Iapetus and the Oceanid Clymene. However, some – disagreeing with him – say that his mother was another sea nymph named Asia. Either way, he had three brothers (Prometheus, Epimetheus, and Menoetius) and possibly as many wives.

History has been made as Atlas won their first title since 1951 after a 1-0 win over Leon in regulation forced a penalty kick shootout in which they won 4-3. Atlas gets their first title in 70 years, their second ever in club history.
