Why is Fishing Bridge RV Park closed?
The fishing bridge area is closed for the 2021 season This area has been under construction and was closed in 2020. As a Yellowstone local, we know that it’s also closed in 2021. Just trying to help out other campers for planning.
Can you camp with an RV in Yellowstone?
RVs are welcome at all campgrounds within Yellowstone (size restrictions may apply). Five campgrounds in Yellowstone National Park require reservations. They include Bridge Bay, Canyon, Fishing Bridge, Grant, and Madison. Reserve these campsites through Yellowstone National Park Lodges.
Which campgrounds in Yellowstone have hookups?
Hookups Available: Fishing Bridge RV Park It’s the only Yellowstone campground with a dump station and water, sewer and electrical hook-ups. On the eastern side of the park a stone’s throw from Yellowstone Lake, the campground is across the road from the historic Fishing Bridge Museum and Visitor Center.

How much will it cost to camp in Yellowstone? Campsites cost as little as at $15 per night, per site. Most campgrounds with more amenities such as flush toilets and nearby laundry facilities range from $20 to $31 per night.
Can you use a pop up camper in Yellowstone?
Yes, pop up campers are allowed in Yellowstone National Park. There are some exceptions to this though. Hard-sided campers are the only campers acceptable at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone.

How can I camp for free in Yellowstone?
There is free camping located inside of the national park, the north entrance, east entrance, south entrance, west entrance. The only location without free camping is the northeast entrance. There is a few spots but they are all around an hour and a halfway from the gate, which makes it pointless to camp there.
