have just returned from an overnight stay at River Cottage HQ with my husband. Check-in is between 3-6pm. You park your car on the top car park next to the road, call the cottage reception and wait to be collected and driven to the main house. First impressions are the courtyard is boring, it needs some welcoming colour of flowers.
