Does Ploughshares pay?
For Ploughshares literary journal, we pay $45 per journal page; minimum payment is $90 and maximum payment is $450. For the Ploughshares Solos series, we pay $450.
How do you submit poetry to Ploughshares?
To submit, all users must be logged in.

- Upload only one file containing one prose piece or one to five pages of poems.
What kind of stories does Ploughshares publish?
Ploughshares is currently open for submissions of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry from June 1, 2020 to January 15, 2021. Fiction and nonfiction submissions can run up to 7,500 words. That said, work of 7,500-20,000 words can be submitted for Ploughshares Solos series.
